PROCONOR, S.A. was founded in 1969 by Mr. José María Ortiz Mochales with the spirit of providing a complete and professional service to the needs of Yeast Plants in the final phase of yeast production, as a result of his own work experience in the modernization of a Yeast Plant in Spain.

Our experience of more than 50 years working solely in this sector, the quality of our machines, our vocation for service, our involvement with our Customers and our continuous development and improvement have made Proconor a world leader and have led us to become the benchmark company in our market.

During these more than 50 years, we have been pioneers in the development of new equipment for the production of Baker’s yeast. Nowadays, we continue to design new machines and devices for the Baker’s yeast industry, with the same enthusiasm and vocation with which our founder started our company’s path.

We develop sturdy and reliable machines that are easy to handle and maintain. We manufacture all our machinery entirely at our facilities in Gavà (Barcelona).
